What are these hypnosis experience?
I've been seeing a hypnotist to help me overcome my phobia elevator that takes more time. Now therapist has been my using age regression to me. The session began normal until she had me recalling the night before when I was unclear in the movie theater bathroom. Then as she counted down to when I had my first panic attack (it was helping me to realize the same feelings when I get in an elevator), began I am feeling sick and dizzy and my heart went. I began to move on fouton got just that. I felt like I relived my first panic attack. I remember most of the session, but at some point it felt like I dozed off and was talking nonsense. A bit like dreams and I do not remember what she asked me, but I remember talking random words felt like a dream. I just was not there. My eyes also rolled up in my head a few times. I was in a deep trance? Also, what was my first experience as I relived my panic attacks?
I'm using Regression Therapy in my practice and have had many clients find relief from phobias, including elevator phobia, as you have described. The reaction that you experienced was normal from my experience. When I help someone decline I am trying to release all the emotional experience of the situation. The intention is that by "reliving" If all the emotions are allowed to get out and not stay stuck inside you. This is often very effective.
