Our daughter – age 42 is very 'obese' – About 450 pounds. How can I get help with the financial aspect of gastric or Lap Band Surgery? Please do not propose to go abroad. If she had the kind of money, she would not need help. She has tried everything from Weight Watcher's to hypnosis to a liquid diet, etc. Her health is generally good – no diabetes, only moderately elevated blood pressure and a thyroid condition. No problems with the heart – all have been checked. We live in the Midwest and want to know if anyone knows someone Dr. or Clinic that would work out the financing of this type of surgery?
