I want to quit smoking. How do I do that?
Years ago, who used to smoke believe it or not, Oprah had something on her show, where audience leave with her. We made it to smoke our usual one day, counting cigarettes, and then the next day, just smoke one less. My sister did it too. She has never smoked again. I have never made it past the daily limit 5, and so I gave up. I tried hypnosis, it did not work. I went to Mayo Clinic's smoking cessation Clinic, where I was put on the patch and counseled. It worked until they took the patch off. I started smoking within 2 weeks. I've tried those things where you put a rubber band the wrist and snap it when you want a CIG. Only That left me with a red wrist. I've tried The Subliminal tapes. They put me to sleep, but I smoked when I woke up. So when tomarrow is National Smoke Out day, what would you suggest I do this time to quit? Willpower is not an option. I'm very very strong willpower, I have done some amazing things, but this challenge is one I keep losing.
DU, frankly, came to the RIGHT PLACE to this issue. I smoked for many years. I closes 5 July 2005. I even surprised myself. The secret is discovering how sneaky, bastard (sorry), liar, that dependence is. The "Do you believe" that it is impossible to stop. In my work, when people found out I tried to quit, a Chinese girl told me this: "Peter (Not my real name), Peter, my boyfriend stopped him leave with NiQuitin gum … honest … very good! "- Another gimmick, I thought. But I went out and bought a box of 30 NiQuitin gum tablets I had no serious desire to stop. I was afraid of cancer, but had no serious plans to stop then. But I continue to buy cigarettes and continued smoking, BUT, and this is key, every time I allowed myself to smoke when I took a chewing gum in your mouth first, (after their instructions to the letter very important). At the time I was working at the computer and suddenly I began to discover that I could be 3 and 4 hours without wanting to a cigarette! Then again, before I lit a cigarette, I took a chewing gum. Little by little, in this cowardly way, I weaned myself off of cigarettes. I stopped smoking ' when I discovered that 90% of addiction is psychological! So my advice to you is to go for NiQuitin, and not depriving yourself od CIGS. Get them into the arms reach but goes using NiQuitin. It's all mental, so (1) you need a solution that involves the mouth (gums) and (2) never deprive yourself of CIGS. It is a torture. During which, near by you with your NiQuitin HAVE A CIG WHERE YOUI LIKE but stick with life saving NiQuitin. — The last point? I smoke 15 to 20 a day, every day, for … wait for it … 35 years! I am very easy depending on anything. I tried cold turkey and could not do it. Now the reward for quitting smoking are many and obvious, but the important thing is this — I learned that 95% of addiction is all psychological and having won over this terrible vice, which pretends to be a fight, but is a coward by a dwarf. ———– I sincerely hope it helps. Trust me do not deprive yourself of CIGS, go to them, but always VIA to NiQuitin. Good luck andlet us Kow when it succeeds.
