Help me to dance please.?

So recently, I've got a new group of friends who are very social and go to lots of concerts and festivals and I get invited to many parties. The only problem is that I am a really shy and embarrassed person, although I do self hypnosis to try to resolve this problem, something that really holds me back is the dance. I am absolutely crap. It's not that I am trying to do some great stunts and looks stupid, it's just I do not know what to do. I get stuck and end up just nodding my head and swaying or click my fingers and just generally looks really sad. Are there any tutorials or advice to help I would not want to learn a particular style of dance, just a general 'way' to dance or some simple steps or moves I can do to fit thanks x im a girl and im 16 LOL

Hello I am a dancer. Tell us – are you a man or a woman? As a man shakes his booty like shakira would be ridiculous? So just want to see OK great lol! Great for new friends in this way. Sounds fun! Well, weapons are the hardest to master, so save that for the end of the night when everyone's casual or a bit drunk. To start, make sure you have a drink in hand, as it is an excuse not to do something wild and tricky with your hands initially. You can blow people away with your hips shake, but first you have to do is practice your hip rotations. Make a figure of eight with your hips, so you're just circling them on the one hand, the one direction and the other in a different direction. (So turn forward all the time, right hip diagonally leads and not a 'circle' clockwise and then the left hip goes forward diagonally and has a circle counterclockwise) Allow your knees to relax a little and move with the flow. This is actually a belly dancing move, I have used to some music at all! Another is to shake your hips vigourously in one jump, keep your torso still. So try shimmying and doing figure 8 rotation. When you are ready to use your hands, it looks good with his arms up and just seductive move. Or place them on or near your hips / pelvis. If a person you like to dance up to you, you can do this step with / against them and they will love it! Also just make some completely circles with your hips. You can do full circles with your hips and slowly and seductively also reverse at the same time, with his hands caress your body (a bit) or just up in the air. You need to inject some fun with sexy moves. So just do something stupid bouncy sort of movement and laugh with your friends. If you ever feel shy, just talk to someone as an excuse instead of just stopping middle of the dance floor lol. I used to occasionally do ballet-ish spins and jumps for a joke, whose music was appropriate, and the mood was right and that always people laugh! When I used to dance I used to get everyone's attention and I was often asked to dance in clubs. You can get a large mirror in your room, blast some music and experiment with literally to let you go and feel the music, acting sexy. I would recommend that you buy a Belly Dancing DVD as once you have some very simple movements, you can adapt it to hip hop, dance, Rega, R & B rave music anywhere! And it will always look fantastic. HIPS HIPS HIPS and SMILE, drink in hand, until you get confident talk of people's ears, if you run out of features or just not "get" the tune being played! Enjoy! Hope this helps!
