Epilepsy / Hypnosis Question …?

I'm not sure if I epileptic or not, but I have seizures and have had them all my life – especially with flashing light. I have them in the light of strobe lighting and has even had them in the cinema. But my friend Hypnotize me, and when she does, does not cause flashing lights seizures. Does anyone understand how it works? She has made it almost 10 times as much.
