Hypnosis Inductions

Do rapid inductions for hypnosis really work?

I have heard of the 8 word induction and of other ones but i have tried them a lot and they never work.
here is what i do
I tell them to put there hand on my hand and press down gently
I tell them to close there eyes
i drop there hand [...]
